residences is close to shops,
spas, salons, art galleries
and restaurants. Features
encompass panoramic golf,
ocean and city views; parkstyled
pedestrian streetscape;
rooftop pool/sun deck with
cabanas, private outdoor
amenities; substantial green
space; areas for outdoor
dining and entertaining; his
and her spa with treatment
rooms, relaxation room, salt
room, steam rooms, saunas
and private locker rooms; and
a Club Room for entertaining.
Additional amenities include
a fitness center, outdoor yoga
space, landscaped meditation
gardens and dog park,
concierge service and 24/7
on-site security and valet.
ALINA was meticulously
designed by Garcia
Stromberg GS4 Studios, West
Palm Beach. Architectural
woodwork for the residences
was fabricated by Hollywood
Woodwork, an AWI member
firm located in Hollywood,
Florida.

planned around the concept
of a continuous connection
between design and the
natural world, says architect
Jorge Garcia. This was
achieved by using natural
wood veneers creating the
alluring connection within
the exterior natural elements
and interior spaces. " The
organic and artful movement
is purposely placed on
the most prominent
visual element
immediately
as you begin
the journey
through the building.
This created the grounding
feature that seamlessly
connects the use of multiple
natural elements throughout
the building to immerse
the residents in an organic
environment. "
As seen in nature,
the building concept is a
symphony of forms working
together, both externally
and internally, creating a
perfectly balanced canvas
where each element stands
alone as well as contributes
to the full environment,
he continues. " For this
element in particular, we
wanted to depict movement,
almost like walls of wood
drapery reaching the floors
and ceilings with different
undulations. "
Woodwork Elements
Hollywood Woodwork
completed the common areas
for this project, including
lobby, spa, fitness center,
lounge, business center
and elevator lobbies. " We
also produced an extensive
exterior tongue and groove
ceiling scope using Cedar
which encompassed the
building's amenity ceilings, as
well as the baseboard across
all of the common areas,
corridors, and units, " says
Sebastien DesMarais.
Walnut, Cedar, fabric wall
panels, bronze metal wall
panels and integrated LED
lighting were used.
