part of leaders that the insurance
industry has to put a lot more of their
time and energy into attracting young
people," Devine says. Indeed, it could
be the biggest issue facing the insurance industry. Many long-time insurance agents are close to retirement.
Insurance companies are competing
with the tech industry for young
talent, and insurance is not always
viewed as a "cool" industry by young
job seekers.
That is why it is critical for future
leaders to know that their company
cares, which is exactly what Devine
has done to retain his current and
future top talent. ▲
