FULL DAY PRE-K

T

his year our PreK program expanded to offer a full day program as well as a morningonly option. This inaugural year, the total enrollment was 40 students with 10 students
enrolled in the morning option while the remaining 30 chose the full day program. All

PreK students participate in Language Arts, Math, Science, and Religion in the morning.
After the morning students depart for home, the full day students have lunch and a rest time
followed by other subjects such as library, PE, and music. The PreK program expansion
allows us to better meet the varied needs of our Aquinas families.

ACADEMIC ADDITIONS
ROBOTICS CLUB

Thanks to several exceptional parent volunteers, Aquinas
was able to establish a First Lego League Robotics
Club for 4th through 7th graders. This group of talented
students meets weekly to research challenges facing
today's scientists; design, build, test, and program robots
using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® technology; apply real-world
math and science concepts; learn critical thinking, teambuilding, and presentation skills; participate in tournaments/
competitions, and have fun.
