1 Reading buddies: 3rd grade students build their reading skills as they read aloud to their PreK buddies. 2 Battle of the Books: First time
participating and out of 26 participating teams, our Aquinas team earned 1st place in the written round and 3rd place overall! 3 'Acting out' in
Advanced Language Arts class 4 STEAM: Creating light up Christmas cards using copper tape, a circuit, and an LED light. These cards were
sent to soldiers at Walter Reed Medical Center. 5 Learning about fire safety 6 Spelling Bee contestants 7 8th grade Science and 7th grade STEM
students participated in the Science Fair. Following a new diocesan approach, students published their findings electronically and the final products
were very impressive! 8 Studying the solar system in PreK 9 Baby chicks are hatching! 10 In Spanish class, students solve Spanish breakoutEDU
puzzles to rescue Carlos the Capybara.
