All 50-plus conference presentations and posters are also available. SEPSIS ALLIANCE NAMES CHA 2017 SEPSIS HERO CHA, together with its members, has been selected as a 2017 Sepsis Hero. Presented by Sepsis Alliance, a patient advocacy group dedicated to raising awareness of sepsis, the honor recognizes CHA's leadership in improving sepsis care through the Improving Pediatric Sepsis Outcomes (IPSO) collaborative. The collaborative is focused on the diagnostic and treatment protocols to reduce sepsis deaths and hospital-onset sepsis by 75 percent by 2020. The award will be presented at the Sepsis Heroes gala in New York on Sept. 14, which concludes with Sepsis Awareness Month. Sepsis Heroes celebrates individuals and organizations that have made a significant contribution to sepsis awareness and education of the public and health care professionals.
