The conference website
launched early this year, and
we'll be updating it as the
ATA64 schedule takes shape.
We're making lots of fun
and exciting changes to the
conference program this year!
The call for speakers closed
on March 1, and I look forward
to reviewing the hundreds of
great proposals we received
this year-both for 30- and
60-minute conference
sessions, Advanced Skills and
Training Day courses, and
the newly added MicroTalks,
Professional Forums, and
Committee Forums (read
about these in my JanuaryFebruary
column).

As usual, we'll kick off
our Annual Conference with
a celebration on Wednesday,
October 25. This time, our
Welcome Celebration will
include opening remarks
and announcements while
you enjoy some food and
drinks outdoors on the
Riverwalk Terrace by
the hotel.
You can look forward
to fantastic continuing
education opportunities, a
fun Exhibit Hall experience,
and many of your favorite
conference events, like
Buddies Welcome Newbies,
Stronger Together
Networking, Brainstorm
Networking, the Job Fair,
the After-Hours Café, the
AFTI Game Night, and more.
New this year, the T&I
Book and Resource Fair will
feature not only colleagues
who double as book authors,
but also T&I professionals
who have podcasts and
blogs or offer training
courses and resources for
translators and interpreters.
And of course, we have
some fun plans in store for
our ATA64 Closing Social-
stay tuned!
Conference Registration
Opens Soon
Conference registration will
open in mid-June, and I'll
be sharing more news and
updates as they become
available. In the meantime,
please visit the ATA64
conference website and
encourage other colleagues
you know to join us in Miami
on October 25-28, 2023-
ATA64 will be an event to
remember!
I would like to extend a

of dedicated ATA members
in Miami who offered their
