Choices from #2 to #3 • Do a front cross between #2 and #3 so that the dog is on your left for the teeter • Move laterally away from the dog as he is executing the teeter and then do a landing-side front cross at #4. Pull from #5 to #6 (dog is on your left) • Pull from #2 to #3 so that the dog is on your right for the teeter If you did a front cross before the teeter (dog is on your left): • Push to jump #4; pull to #5 (dog is on your left from #3 to #5) • Move laterally away from the dog as he is executing the teeter and then do a landing-side front cross at #4. Do another front cross from #5 to #6 (dog is on your right) (dog finishes on your left) • Pull from the teeter to #4 and then do a rear cross at #5 If you pulled to the teeter (dog is on your left) • Push off the end of the teeter to #4 and then pull from #5 to #6 (dog stays on your left) • Push to jump #4 and do a front cross from #4 to #5 (dog is on your right for #5) If you pulled to the teeter (dog is on your right) • Do a rear cross at #4 and pull to #5 • Keep the dog on your right as you release from the teeter; wrap the dog to his left over #4 as a front cross and finish with #5 on your left • Push off the end of the teeter to #4 and then do a front cross from #5 to #6 so that the dog is on your right • Do a blended front cross at jump #4 • Do a serpentine from #3 to #5 • Do a blind cross off the teeter so that the dog is on your left; pull to #5, keeping the dog on your left 2 • Do a blind cross off the teeter so that the dog is on your left and do a front cross from #4 to #5 so that the dog is on your right the dog is on your left 5 6 • Do a front cross off the teeter and then pull to #5 so that Exercise 2 Lead out part way to #2 with the dog on your left and then alternately on your right. Choices from #2 to #3 • Have the dog on your left as he exits the tunnel and on your left as he performs the teeter 4 • Have the dog on your left as he exits the tunnel and do a rear cross at the teeter 3 2 • Do a front cross out of the tunnel and have the dog on your right for the teeter If you did a front or rear cross at the teeter (dog is on your right) • Do a front cross off the teeter and then pull from #5 to #6 (dog is on your left from #4 to #6) 1 • Do a front cross off the teeter and then another front cross from #5 to #6 (dog is on your left from #4 to #5 and on your right for #6) Many times in class situations we only have time to execute a sequence in one particular way. In reality, there is usually more than one way that sequences can be efficiently and effectively executed. I do believe that to be the best competitor you can be, when you see a sequence in competition, rather than fret about how to get through it you should have several different ways to do it in your toolbox.
