The handler leads out to the closest wing of #4 (green handler). She faces forward and uses the arm closest to the dog (left) until the dog’s commitment/takeoff at jump #3. At that point, the handler rotates her shoulders into the dog and changes arms. The handler can start moving toward #5 when the dog is committed to the correct side of #4. The initial turn/side change occurs between #3 and #4 as a push-through. The dog needs to jump #3 with true collection. Therefore, the handler has no motion until the dog is committed to collection at jump #3. The handler leads out to the landing side of #3 while facing the dog and using the arm the dog will be on when he lands (right). Motion toward the correct side of #4 starts when the dog is committed to collection at #3 and motion toward #5 starts when the dog is committed to the correct side of #4. 64 Clean Run | April 09
