able poles and has only thin rods to add stability to its zipper-set up system. It is not as sturdy as many of the other crates in this survey. It is heavy enough to be difﬁcult for a dog to roll, but you can’t set much on top of it. All zippers are doubled and can be hooked together with a clip to discourage potential escapees. There are two loops inside near the front of the crate presumably for clips to attach bowls. Extras: Potential zipper locks, faux sheepskin mat, pockets, carrier bag, loops to hook things to. Set Up/Take Down: This crate is so easy to set up and break down! After removing the crate from its carrier bag, pull up one of the ends and zip it to the body of the crate. Repeat with the

other end. Take down is slightly more complicated. Unzip and fold in one end at a time. The body of the crate ﬂattens down on top of itself. You might need to tuck the side fabric in while you ﬂatten. It’s an easy process, but I found getting it back into the bag a little more challenging. If I owned this crate and didn’t park too far from the site I think I’d leave the bag at home. Comments: Competitors liked the ease of setting it up, but commented that the crate is “heavy and not as sturdy” and “well-made but ﬂimsy.” A competitor who has had one of these crates for three years, agreed that it is “not sturdy.” Several people complained about the color (the large crate is orange and yellow), although others loved it. Several reviewers mentioned that they liked the different style of mesh. can be clipped or locked together to foil escapes. Corners are reinforced, and the crate can be buckled ﬂat. There is a handle for easy carrying when collapsed., and the removable pouch can be left attached even when the crate is folded up. I did ﬁnd this crate to have a little more “give” in the poles and somewhat loose material on the top near the large door. It seems a little less stable than some of the others, particularly for storing a lot of stuff on top of it. Extras: Removable carry-a-long bag with detachable strap/ leash, pad, mat, potential for zipper locks, more than one door. Set Up/Take Down: This crate is very easy to set up. Unzip the top, spread the crate out a bit, and pull open the top bar, which bends at a joint in the middle, until you hear a click. Repeat with the opposite side. The bottom contains the same poles, which you push down until they are straight. The bottom poles don’t seem to click into place, so they are ﬂexible and could be bent up, squishing the crate base up a bit, if a dog is particularly active. This doesn’t appear to affect the safety of the dog while in the crate. Take down is very easy. There are buttons on the outside of the joints which are easy to depress. These release the poles so they may fold. The entire crate folds in on itself (rather than having the ends fold down). Then it can be snapped shut so it’s easier to carry. Comments: This crate was criticized most for being very expensive. Other comments from competitors were varied, including compliments on the extras, appreciation for the side door, and a few complaints that it is too heavy.

It also has an attached storage bag on the top of the crate behind the zip-open door. The crate is supported by internal poles that aren’t removable. All three of the doors are double zippered and
