Threadles, drills Serps, and Fronts By Nancy Gyes This fun drill was part of a larger setup for our classes last week here at Power Paws. I really liked this simple setup and spent a bit of time each day with my dogs working on threadles, serpentines, and front crosses on the small layout shown in Figure 1. There are a couple pushes out of the tunnel and some opportunities to work on a lead-out pivot or 1 10 20 30 moving into your front cross on the lead-out. There are threadle options in almost every drill in Figures 2-11. If you would like to get copies of my field setups which include both jumpers and contact drill setups, write to me at powerpaw@aol.com and I will let you know how to get on my class setup mailing list. I hope you enjoy training on this setup as much as I did. D This setup was part of our contact drills portion of the yard, shown in Figure 12. In most of my classes I presented a short jumping sequence as the first part of each sequence before we moved into the contact portion of the setup. 40 2 5 60 60 50 50 1 6 4 40 40 30 30 20 20 10 10 Setup 10 32 20 30 2 7 3 This drill is a big figure-eight exercise.
