Digital Life

We're halfway through our first year as a digital-only magazine.
We know it's been a struggle for the many of you who preferred paper. Thank you for sticking with us-we appreciate your support!
We have worked hard to take advantage of some of the extras
that are afforded to us by virtue of being a digital magazine, like
providing videos that can be played within an article and including a PDF with the CRCD 4 course descriptions for articles
with drills or courses. Since there's extra production time required to implement many of these features, we're always trying
to assess each feature's usefulness to our readers. Since we don't
know whether you use or enjoy the special features, we're looking for some feedback.
What digital features do you like in the magazine? What do
you never use or dislike? Do you even know what features are
available?
The last question is one I can help you with. We made a video
that walks you through a lot of the features available in a digital issue. It's called "Special Features in the New Digital Clean
Run Magazine" (brilliant title, right?), and it can be found on
the Clean Run YouTube channel, or you can click the link below
to play it. We also created a video to help you understand how to
best navigate each digital issue, called "How to Use Your Digital
Issue of Clean Run Magazine on Your Computer." It's also available on our YouTube channel or by clicking the link below.

After you check out these videos (unless you've already seen
them), please email us at editors@cleanrun.com and let us know
which features you like (getting CRCD files to go along with
course maps? Seeing videos showing examples of exercises?)
and what you don't like or never use. Also, is there something
that you would like for us to add if we can?
In addition to the digital magazine, we've been offering other
forms of digital education. You probably already know that
we've created an online school, the Clean Run Learning Center,
which can be found here: https://www.cleanrun.com/category/
learning_center/index.cfm. We're proud of how it's growing!

When so many agility instructors had to close their doors because of COVID 19 regulations, we worked hard to step in and
provide educational options for competitors. We are trying to
bring the same quality control to the Learning Center that we've
been providing in the magazine for many years. We're helping
instructors edit and organize their material as well as making
sure that each instructor can offer their material in the most
appropriate and effective format, whether that's a webinar, a recorded lesson, a "live" class with discussion areas and prompt
feedback, or self-study with the ability to ask the instructor
questions and have discussions.
The course content is downloadable so that you can have the
product on your personal devices (rather than having only a
streaming option). That means you can download videos and .pdf
files of important text and take them to the agility field on your
iPad or phone while you practice. If you have poor internet, you
can drive to a location with good wifi to access the coursework
and then bring it home to study at your leisure. You have indefinite access to the material online as well. Your library of lessons
doesn't have an expiration date. Once you buy it, it's yours.
We are also adding streaming DVDs to the Learning Center for
those of you who would like digital versions of the educational DVDs we've published. You can find them at https://www.

DVD" offerings.
If you haven't tried the Learning Center yet, we created a free
course for those who wanted something to work on while
"stuck at home" or while money is short. If you haven't seen that

com/courses/61/enroll. It's a bit of a sampler, and it will allow
you to see a few activities from instructors who are already a
part of the Learning Center.
Although many of us are still analog people, we're living in
a digital world now, so we're working to acclimate. We hope
you can do so as well and join us in our continued online
adventures!
