My preferred way would be to serpentine #5-#7. There is a right turn at #5-#6 and a left turn at #6-#7. If you have taught a good 270 skill, then you can create some distance at #4-#5. As the dog commits to #5 I should be on the landing side of #6 and change to a right arm as shown in Figure 3. This handling keeps me ahead of the dog and helps me control the entrance to the tunnel from #8 to #9. If you are physically unable to get to this serpentine position, then you can look at using two front crosses, one at #5-#6 and one at #6-#7; or doing two rear crosses, one at #6 and one at #7.
