At a college job fair while planning for
a career in criminal justice, Gregory
Gagorik was recruited by Saturn Corp. to sell cars. Ten years ago,
he purchased his current dealership. He and his wife, Meghan,
the dealership's marketing director, have several passions. One is
helping organizations that fight cancer, such as Coaches vs. Cancer
of Northeast Pennsylvania and the Northeast Regional Cancer
Institute, where Gagorik is a member of the Board of Ambassadors.
Another is support for the arts; the Gagoriks received the Sam
and Jane Cali Star Award from the Broadway Theatre League of
Northeastern Pennsylvania.

At the age of 12, Art Hudgins began working
at his dad's dealership, Holiday ChevroletCadillac-and has never left. Today Art and his brother, Michael,
own the dealership, and daughter Aris is training to be the third
generation to run the business. Holiday helps the local fire and
rescue squads by donating training dummies and sponsors a host
of local organizations and initiatives, including Vettes for Vets,
youth baseball's Williamsburg Revolution, YMCA Bright Beginnings
and Grove Christian Outreach Center food drives. Recognizing his
outstanding community service, the local Lions Charity Foundation
honored Hudgins with its 2005 Good Samaritan Fellowship award.

Frank Hanenberger, the son of a 46-year
General Motors employee, began his career as a GM engineer after
getting his master's degrees from Stanford University and Harvard
Business School. He moved into sales and marketing at Ford, then
became enamored with retail automotive. Hanenberger opened
MetroWest Subaru in 2005 and added a second Subaru dealership
in Vermont. He serves on the board of The Center for Arts in Natick
and has volunteered his time to the Second Church in Newton.
Hanenberger regularly participates in Dealer Day on Beacon Hill,
an annual meeting of dealers and Massachusetts state legislators.

Oregon Auto Dealers Association

After a distinguished career that started as a
lot porter and included managing dealerships
around the country, Dave Jachter was awarded the Toyota store in
Wilsonville in 2007. He added Wilsonville Subaru in 2016. Jachter
says his most important civic achievement is co-founding the Sneak
Peek Charity Preview for the Portland International Auto Show, an
event that has donated millions to charities over the past six years.
Jachter supports a variety of local organizations, including Wilsonville
Community Sharing/Food Bank, Compassion in Action Clackamas
County, Home with Heroes, Meals on Wheels and youth activities and
sports at Wilsonville High School.

A third-generation auto dealer, William
Hatfield began working at the family
dealership full-time after college in 1975. Committed to his
hometown of Redlands, he was determined to keep operating
when General Motors classified the business as a "wind down"
dealership during the Great Recession of 2008. Hatfield's
community commitment has extended to leadership roles at the
YMCA of the East Valley, Redlands Community Hospital, the Rotary
Club of Redlands, Lincoln Memorial Shrine and the local library
and museum. He was named Redlands Man of the Year by the
chamber of commerce in 2003.

While at the University of Texas, Jim Janke
began working part-time at his future
father-in-law's dealership. He became general manager in 1997
and president in 2005. Janke has since expanded the business
with Tommie Vaughn Auto Country and Tommy Vaughn Polaris in
Columbus, Texas. For the past 40 years, Janke has worked and served
in leadership roles with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo,
which provides college scholarships, educational endowments and
agricultural research funding. He opens his central Texas ranch
to youth organizations for hunting and camping trips. Janke also
supports a host of organizations including the T.J. Martell Foundation,
Texas Wildlife Association and Texas Cowboys.
