Fletcher Flower's family joined the transportation retail business in
1904, when his great-grandfather opened a carriage and bicycle
shop in Montrose. After nearly a decade in corporate consulting
and investment banking, Flower joined his father and brother
at the family business, which has expanded to three locations.
A former chair of the Colorado Automobile Dealers Association,
Flower currently chairs the Denver Auto Show and was appointed
by the governor to the Colorado Motor Vehicle Dealer Board.
Besides supporting many local organizations, Flower serves on
the board of HopeWest and the local Tourism Retail Advisory
Committee.

Bill Golling

Bill Golling says he's fortunate to continue the legacy of his
father, who opened a dealership in Troy, Mich., in 1966. In
1986, Golling bought the business from his father and today
oversees five Michigan stores. A former president of the Detroit
Auto Dealers Association, he currently is a board member of
the group's charitable-foundation fund and also serves on
an advisory committee. In 2019, Golling chaired the North
American International Auto Show in Detroit, which includes a
Charity Preview gala that raised more than $4 million for local
organizations. He calls the preview the largest annual singlenight fundraiser in the world.

Paul Gaudet started his automotive career as a salesman more
than 50 years ago, opening his first dealership in 1990. Today his
business encompasses eight brands and an insurance agency-
and three of his children, two brothers and his oldest grandchild
are part of the enterprise. To support children affected by the
state's opioid crisis, Gaudet was instrumental in finding and
funding a new location for the Boys & Girls Club of the Lakes
Region and establishing a $2 million endowment to protect its
future. Gaudet says his dealership and family foundation have
given away more than $1 million over the past five years to
support local causes.

Jeffrey Haraden is a third-generation dealer, running the
business along with his co-owner and brother, Steve. In 2019, the
Haraden family marked 100 years in the business his grandfather
established. To celebrate its centennial, the company donated
$10,000 each to 10 charities-including Vanderheyden, a youth
and family services agency; the City Mission of Schenectady;
Special Olympics New York; and the Boys & Girls Clubs of
Schenectady. Haraden recently served as chair of both the New
York State Automobile Dealers Association and the Eastern New
York Coalition of Automotive Retailers.

Stacey Gillman says she was born into the car business. Her
grandfather opened his first Houston dealership in 1938. Today
Gillman is a partner with her brother, Jason, in 10 southern Texas
dealerships. She supports the local school district with the Gillman
Drive for Perfect Attendance program, which offers students
everything from laptops to free cars-and in return provides the
district increased state funding for improved attendance. For 24
years she has championed the Fort Bend Women's Center for
survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The annual
Ramsay Gillman golf tournament has raised more than $1 million
for the center.

Although determined to not enter the auto industry, Eric
Henricksen took a job at a dealership during college and, he
says, discovered auto retailing was a good fit for him. After
graduation, he returned to his hometown and began working at
the dealership his grandfather founded in 1967. Today Henricksen
owns the business alongside his parents. The dealership has
been part of the community for more than 50 years and supports
organizations including the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, Boys &
Girls Club and the Ronan Bread Basket food bank. Henricksen
currently chairs the Montana Automobile Dealers Association.
