Borche Machinery
China-based Borche Machinery has
established a UK subsidiary business
at the Pensnett Estate in Kingswinford, West Midlands to serve the
growing number of customers
throughout the UK and Ireland. At
PDM 2018, Borche Machinery UK
will demonstrate the highly successful Borche BS range of injection
moulding machines. Borche has
grown into one of the largest injection moulding machine manufacturers in the world, producing over
10,000 machines per year. Borche
has developed the Euromap compatible, intelligent two platen BU series,
a fast precision IMM BH series, the
BS servo machine series and the BM
multi-components series, together
comprising more than 100 models.
Machine clamping force ranges from
50T to 6800T, shot weight from 25g
to 300Kgs. Borche has confirmed it
will bring the latest BS150 machine
to the show.

Sumitomo Demag
Leading injection moulding machinery supplier Sumitomo (SHI) Demag
will return to PDM, with its latest
range of machinery, having recently
secured a deal to install two of its Systec Servo models for the Blackburn-based MGS Technical Plastics.
The winner of best technology at
Plastics Industry Awards 2016 will
also run a series of four half-hour injection moulding workshops on both
days in Telford at its stand.
For the practical demonstrations,

Academy trainers and process engineers will use one of the company's
newest all-electric 50-tonne IntElect,
guiding delegates through key topics
to enhance precision, cycle times and

5-point double toggle clamp, all-electric injection moulding machines
available in 50-, 80-, 100-, 130-, 180-,
220-, 280- & 350-tonne models, with
injection capacities from 22g to
1,405g (PS) across the range. These
machines offer energy savings of up
to 80% when compared to conventional hydraulic drive solutions, and
substantially reduced cycle times due
to fully overlapping movements.
ELE machines are equipped as
standard with an Ethernet Varan Protocol control system and Smart Flex 2
clamping unit with generous tie bar
spacing to accommodate larger
moulds and a moving platen that
rides on linear bearings. The machines are also ready for Amico 4.0
wireless remote service access.
