At its K 2022 booth, Shandong Donglin New Materials
Co. Ltd. was trying a creative workaround for
COVID-19 travel problems - sales staff
were sitting in their offi ces back in
China, waiting to video chat on
three terminals the company
set up in its K booth.
They were doing
that because Donglin,
which makes PVC additives, could not send any
staff from China to K.

talks, which begin at the end of November,
will lead to changes in how
plastics are managed. Recommendations
from participants included
improving working conditions for
people who collect plastic waste
in developing countries; creating
transparent rules to better measure
the treaty should elevate
plastics recycling
standards as a
global topic.

not aggregated at a state level or a
higher level. We see that in the U.S.;
we see that in Indonesia.
