Jan Secher
Malmö, Sweden-based Perstorp
Group, a specialty chemicals
company that became part
of Petronas Chemicals Group
Berhad (PCG) in 2022, has
named Ib Jensen as its new
CEO, eff ective 1 March 2023.
Jensen is taking over from Jan
Secher, who is stepping down
after serving as CEO for more
than nine years.
Jensen, a senior industry exRoberto

ecutive with a long career as
CFO, has extensive experience
with M&A and the integration
of acquired companies, something
that will be required in the
next phase for Perstorp. Jensen
has been CFO of Perstorp for
the past year. Previous experience
includes CFO and executive
roles within finance and IT
at companies such as Arxada,
Lonza, Syngenta, and LEGO.
Secher remains in the CEO
Sonia Griff iths
Vedran Kujundzic
role until 1 March and will serve
as an adviser to the new CEO
and the chairman, focusing on
strategy and transferring external
relationships. Monica Jönsson,
currently deputy CFO, will
step into Jensen's shoes as CFO.

European Bioplastics, the association
representing the bioplastics
industry in Europe, is
pleased to announce the appointment
of Roberto Ferrigno
as head of EU Aff airs.
He assumed his position on 1
January 2023 and will be based
in Brussels. He will also head
EUBP's new Brussels off ice.
Ferrigno has worked for
Marina López
many years with many diff erent
stakeholders in the bioeconomy.
Prior to joining EUBP, he
held senior positions at European
and international organisations
and companies, including
the independent global
campaigning network Greenpeace,
the World Wide Fund for
Nature, and Weber Shandwick,
a leading global public relations
firm. In addition, Ferrigno off ers
his services as a self-employed
consultant.

Eff ective 1 January 2023, Trioworld
has merged the two
recently acquired leading innovative
high-performance
stretch film UK manufacturers,
Eurofilms and Quality Films,
into one company. Sonia
Griff iths, a 19-year veteran
of Quality Films, has been appointed
as the new managing
director of the combined company,
which has been renamed
Trioworld UK Ltd.
With headquarters located
in Telford, UK, and a focus on
hand stretch film, Trioworld UK
off ers high-performance stretch
film solutions for load security,
distribution, beverage, food,
and industrial packaging.
Domo Chemicals, a leader in
polyamide-based engineered
material solutions and services,
has announced the appointment
of two key executive positions.
Vedran Kujundzic joins
Domo as chief commercial off icer
for polymers and intermediates,
and Stéphane Guélat
takes on the role of chief supply
chain and procurement off icer.
Both appointments were eff ective
as of January 2023.
Borealis has appointed Stefan
Toader as vice president
of reliability, turnarounds and
projects, eff ective 1 December
2022. In this position, he is in
charge of Borealis' management
and operations of plant
maintenance, turnarounds -
scheduled events for a plant
revamp and/or renewal - and
related projects.
Before joining Borealis, Toader
worked in several managerial
positions at OMV Petrom, where
he started in 1998. In 2019, he
joined OMV in Abu Dhabi, the
United Arab Emirates, as head
of asset management, Middle
East and Asia. From January
2021, he held the position of vice
president asset management,
Ruwais Refinery, UAE.
Klaus-Simon Dröge has
been named the new managing
director of global compounder
Mocom in China. Dröge will also
be responsible for the Asia-Pacific
business of Mocom's aff iliate
Albis, with its completely
independent sales organization.
He succeeds Hans Rukes, who
is retiring midyear after 37 years
within the group. Rukes will
serve as vice president special
projects in Germany on an interim
basis until he retires midyear.
While
Dröge is tasked with
the further expansion of Mocom's
production capacities, his
particular focus is on overseeing
Mocom's portfolio of sustainable
products and the successful
implementation of the
future-oriented development of
Mocom and Albis in China and
the entire APAC region.
Sweden-headquartered Rapid
Granulator has announced
the appointment of Marina
López as the company's new
country manager for Mexico.
López is a marketing and
sales professional with a career
stretching over 25 years in the
service, commercial and industrial
sectors, and boasting international
experience focusing
on strategic business development
and projects. She brings
to the company over 15 years
of experience in plastic injection
moulding at a commercial,
managerial and executive level.
López has collaborated with the
US Department of Commerce
and the Canadian Trade Commission
on commercial cultural
and diplomatic events.
CJ Biomaterials Inc., a division
of South Korea-based CJ CheilJedang
and a primary producer
of polyhydroxyalkanoates,
has hired Scott Bober as the
company's first global head of
sales. Bober brings extensive
commercial excellence experience
to the role, having led
sales development for organizations
in multiple industries
in which CJ Biomaterials is involved,
including chemicals,
plastics, food, and packaging.
He comes to CJ Biomaterials
from RKW, a global film solutions
provider, where he served
as the president of North American
operations.
In addition, CJ Biomaterials
also announced it has
hired Lauren Scott as the
organisation's first director of
corporate aff airs. Scott previously
served on the American
Chemistry Council, where she
advocated for the plastics and
chemicals industry as an associate
director, leading state
government aff airs for the association's
western region. She
brings extensive experience in
government aff airs and advocacy
to her new role, where she
will lead US government aff airs.
