Board, eff ective 1 July 2021. He
succeeds Martijn van Koten, who
was appointed OMV Executive
Board member responsible for
the Refining division.

Rhoad has been appointed
as the new Regional Director
Americas, taking over for Carlos
Manchado Atienza. Rhoad
will be based out of Tomra Recycling's
Charlotte, N.C., North
American headquarters.

Solvay has promoted Carmelo
Lo Faro, previously president
of Solvay's composite materials
business unit, to a new role as
president of Solvay's materials
segment, eff ective immediately.
The materials segment includes
both the specialty polymers
and composite materials businesses,
and has been identified
as the primary segment for
growth and investment as part
of Solvay's G.R.O.W. strategy
launched in 2019. In his new
role, he will have commercial
and operational oversight on
both businesses.
Lo Faro joined Solvay as part
Peter Kochs
of its 2015 acquisition of Cytec
Industries, which strengthened
the foundation for Solvay's
world-leading composite materials
business today. He takes
over responsibility for Solvay's
specialty polymers unit from
Michael Finelli, who has taken
on a new role to lead Solvay's
strategic growth platforms.
Ulrich Bartel
Encina Development Group, a
company that produces circular
chemicals from waste plastics,
has appointed Florian Jardin
to the position of European director
of business development
and product manager.
Florian is a professional in
Markus Parzer

supply chain management with
a passion for sustainability and
the reduction of industrial carbon
footprint. Previously with
DSM, a science-based company,
Florian served as the global
August/September 2021
category manager, responsible
for supply chain management
of polyesters, monomers, polymers,
tolling, and other materials.
He has led cross-functional
and cross value chain sustainability
projects to enable fully
renewable and circular product
lines, and GHG emissions reductions
to reach the company
targets. Before DSM, Florian
worked at Novares, a global
company, in its UK, China, and
Monaco off ices with progressive
supply chain management
roles. Florian has served as
the Ambassador at One Young
World since October 2018, a
global forum for young leaders
around the UN sustainable development
goals.
Injection moulding and
chrome-plating
specialist
Borough Ltd., has announced
the promotion of Aamir
Chaudhry to the role of
General Manager at the Essex-based
manufacturing firm.
In his new position, Aamir will
be providing increased support
to Directors David Brereton
and Nick Coombes and
strengthen links to the wider
managerial team in order to
deliver greater eff iciencies to
the business and ensure optimum
manufacturing quality.
Inhance Technologies, a leading
international provider of polymer
material science solutions,
has appointed Andrew Leeser
as its new Chief Financial
Off icer. Leeser has joined the
organization after four years at
Cimarron Energy, a private equity
backed oil and gas business,
where he led all aspects of finance
and accounting, treasury,
credit / banking, and broader
business support. In addition to
Inhance Technologies' global finance,
accounting and treasury
functions, Andrew will be responsible
for human resources
and information technology.
European supplier of servo-hydraulic
and all-electric injection
moulding machines Ferromatik
Milacron GmbH has
announced the appointment
of Peter Kochs (54) to the
newly created position of Director
of Sales & Business Development,
eff ective 15 March
2021. Kochs started his career
in the plastics industry in 1997.
Prior to joining Ferromatik
Milacron, he was employed
at Windsor. He is tasked with
strengthening the sales and
market development of the enhanced
C-Series, Q-Series and
Maxima Performance injection
moulding machines as well as
the new injection moulding
machine launches expected
in autumn 2021, including mono-sandwich
units.
Coperion has named long-time
employee Ulrich Bartel as
the new President of Coperion.
Eff ective June 2, 2021, Bartel
succeeds Kimberly K. Ryan,
who was appointed Executive
Vice President of Hillenbrand,
Inc., Coperion's parent company,
on June 2.
Ulrich Bartel has been with
Coperion since 1990. He has
spent a total of twelve years
in various leadership roles at
Coperion companies in Japan,
China, Singapore and the USA.
Since 2014, he has headed the
Polymer Division as President,
which incorporates all product
areas related to plastics.
Markus Parzer has replaced
Ulrich Bartel as President of the
Polymer Division. Markus Parzer
joined Coperion in 1992.
Rosti Group has announced that
two key management positions
have been filled in the United
States of America. The appointment
of a regional technical director
and regional sales director
are part of a long-term strategy
to expand the service off ering
to north American clients, and
follows the announcement of a
commitment to opening a Digital
Innovation Lab in Boston. Ron
Maddocks has joined as Regional
Technical Director, having
previously been a client of Rosti.
He has worked in the industry
since 1995 with various engineering
and plastics companies.
Steve Dei Rossi has
joined as Regional Sales Director.
He brings over 12 years in
industrial client management
and business development to
his new role.
