Fakuma
Roemheld's die and mould handling solution
parts and sprues right up to the
heavy-duty 600 series designed
for the toughest applications.
The control system detects not
only parameters such as power
consumption, motor speed and
bearing temperatures but also
the state of blades, screens and
V belts. The recent implementation
of the Ethernet-based,
cross-system OPC UA standard
means the machines can now
be integrated into control center
systems. In addition to providing
component monitoring
and interconnection with other
machines, the control system
also has a 'boost' mode for
adapting grinding capacity to
production-related fluctuations.
Adaption of operating parameters
to defined plastics means
that even temperature-sensitive
grades can be straightforwardly
processed without water cooling.
The 'eco' operating mode
adjusts machine speed to the
prevailing input volume, so reducing
power consumption
(Hall A1, stand 1005).
Hot runners
Oerlikon HRSflow is presenting
its new S-series of small-sized
hot runner systems, designed
for use in the production of
small-format technical components.
Depending on the application,
the new S series can be
equipped with screwed-in or
non-screwed-in (face-to-face)
nozzles. The inner bore size can
be selected according to the shot
weight. The design allows for a
compact mould structure with a
minimum nozzle pitch of 37 mm.
In the valve gate version, the S
series is combined with either
a 62 mm high compact cylinder
or, in the version with adjustable
needle position, with a 70 mm
high cylinder. The new S series
is suitable for low shot weights,
multi-cavity moulds and thinwalled
components. At Fakuma,
Oerlikon HRSflow will showcase
the application of the new S series
for a so-called Hydration Reminder
made of polypropylene
(PP). The S series made it possible
to meet the requirements
for a low part weight with a wall
thickness of only 1 mm as well as
for quick colour changes. (Hall
A2, stand A2-2217).
Typical applications of Oerlikon HRSflow's new S series hot runner line
include small technical parts such as the housing for a smart device called
Hydration Reminder. © Oerlikon HRSflow

Whether it is inhouse, postconsumer
or bottle recycling:
you can only close loops in a
precise and profi table way if
machines are perfectly tuned
for the respective application.
Count on the number 1
technology from EREMA
when doing so: over 6000
of our machines and systems
produce around 14.5 million
tonnes of high-quality pellets
like this every year -
in a highly effi cient and
energy-saving way.
