One need only walk the streets
of Soho, an ultra-hip enclave in Manhattan, to witness a melding of the city’s most fashion-forward denizens with its more artistic occupants. And where fashion and art convene, TIGI should certainly be. This location will bring us back to our education roots,” she opines. The Academy is set to host anywhere from 5 to 20 students at any one time, keeping learning intimate, hands-on and, with this new locale, undoubtedly cool. —Karie L. Frost
