didn't have the time to bond and become
a team. Now we're taking a step back and
seeing how we can work to form this team
and get to know each other. We have made
great strides, but it continues to be a work in
progress.

Vernessa: I agree that we have come
a long way from when we first started. We
have our daily team stand ups, team building
exercises, and are generally getting to know
each other better. I believe that as long as
everyone's voice is heard, the team will form,
and everyone will feel they have an important role. In the end, I'm confident we will
become a dynamic team.

5. There are a lot of stakeholders who will be affected
by the implementation of this
project, how do you obtain
and weigh their input into
decisions that you make in
your role?
Vernessa: With OCM, we have been

Janine: I agree with Vernessa. It is
important, especially during this phase in
the project that we get as much feedback
as possible from key stakeholders. Vernessa
addressed some of the methods we have
employed thus far in obtaining stakeholder
feedback. As we continue to move thru
implementation, we will continue to use a
variety of tools: surveys, workshops, user
testing, to name a few to gather feedback.
We are mindful of the fact that each stakeholder group may have differing 'non-negotiables' as well as 'wish list items. It is our
responsibility to solicit these and consider
each within the parameters of our desired
outcome as well as system capabilities.
We want to ensure that upon completion of
this project, we have a financial system that
is transparent, easy to use and meets the
needs of all key stakeholders.

Vernessa: We want to make this process a positive experience for everyone
involved. In order to do that, we welcome
feedback to understand how our team can
best meet the needs of our stakeholders.

trying to communicate with as many stakeholders as possible to hear what their needs
are for the system. The challenge is reaching everyone to ensure they have a voice.
We want people to have the opportunity
to provide inputs. We've done this through
workshops, deep dives, and surveys and will
continue to do this through each stage and
with different levels of involvement.
