Kurz's career has elevated brands and retail experiences from CoverGirl, Max Factor, Columbia Sportwear and Dick's Sporting Goods to
Coca-Cola, Anheuser-Busch, Nike and Timberland. With each company and client, he gained perspective, knowledge and experience
preparing him for his role as principal and creative director of RedStitch. Not only has he continued to deliver inspired retail strategy and
design to clients like Jeep, Meijer and 7 For All Mankind, but he also digs deep to assemble a talented team and run a successful business,
sometimes wearing hats as IT director, project manager, installer, website administrator and even office barista. Kurz is described as a
supremely talented and completely relatable professional who has led countless clients to fully realize their potential at retail. His creativity is said
to be matched with determined perfectionism. He believes in creating a shared vision and wows people doing so with pen and paper. He is a true
sketch artist that uses this talent to foster discussions and encourage a deeper examination of solutions. From products and brands to the stores and
fixtures that feature them, Kurz is passionate about curating a brand's story, and his clients revere his thought leadership, attention to detail and his
dedication to simply doing great work.

Lee is a dedicated designer with
a great spirit at the forefront of
the design and retail industry.
With a Bachelor of Architecture
from Pratt Institute, she has
honed her skills and gained
valuable experience with built
projects across the globe for
multiple noteworthy brands.
She began her career working
for O'Neil Langan Architects
P.C. in New York, where she
served as project manager for
Tory Burch Intl. and worked on
projects for Victoria's Secret and
Burberry. She then had the opportunity to work for Tiffany &
Co. as project manager for global
real estate and store development-international, where she
acquired a long list of global
project achievements from
Japan, China and South Korea to
Italy, France, the United States
and Canada. She has now spent
more than three years with
L Brands - Victoria's Secret +
Pink. As senior design manager,
she manages multiple standalone and flagship store projects,
maintaining relationships with
staff overseas and handling everything from design and brand
consistency to budget, construction management, punch lists
and financial close outs. She is
making her mark globally on
the retail industry.
Biggest fear: Losing my phones.
Favorite hobby: DIY gel nail art.

Margolius started his career as a Shawmut intern
and quickly established himself as a leader in the
company and with his clients. As the youngest person
in Shawmut history to be named vice president, he
is part of the executive leadership team, developing
the growth strategy for the $300-million, 233-person
retail division. Margolius has played a key role in
brainstorming the best ways to deliver designers' and
clients' visions. He has helped construct some of the
most iconic, logistically challenging and luxurious
retail flagships for elite fashion houses, including
Chanel, Tom Ford and Yves St. Laurent. His attention to detail and design execution earned
him the position of project executive, serving as a key owner liaison for high-profile accounts,
such as Apple and UNIQLO. He fully immerses himself in a brand and focuses on collaboration
to ensure design enhancements and efficiencies are realized and implemented. He creates
scalable, repeatable processes to support constructability of highly detailed, cutting-edge store
designs. Margolius chairs Shawmut's Diversity Leadership Council, which works to foster an
inclusive environment and increased employee engagement. He brings diversity and inclusion
awareness to his team on a day-to-day basis, speaks on local and national panels and is a Posse
Foundation mentor, providing support and guidance to talented students.

AMANDA MCALLISTER
Associate Creative Director
ChangeUp (formerly Interbrand)
AGE 30

For McAllister, her role in the retail industry is
not a job; it is her passion. And her passion projects are visible across categories and continents.
She is known for her innate creativity and eye
for design, her unique ability to see both the big
picture and smallest detail. Her portfolio of work
includes clients such as Macy's, Pier 1, Best Buy,
Nissan, Häagen-Dazs, Disney and Buffalo Wild
Wings. She stays in tune with all aspects of art,
fashion and culture giving her a broad perspective to inform her design process. She is known
for combining tremendous effort with killer
creative instincts and for being tenacious
in fighting for the right design decision. She is driven to create
unforgettable brand experiences that foster loyalty
and growth, and has received recognition for her
efforts through design awards from publications.
McAllister inspires her team and pushes them to
achieve more as they strive for the successful execution of creative visions. She also supports aspiring
designers as a co-op mentor and regular visitor to
design programs sharing the life of a designer in the
real world.

STEPHANIE MAXWELL
Manager of Design, Visual Merchandising for New
Stores, Remodels, Capital Projects and Business
Initiatives
Macy's Inc.
AGE 32

Maxwell is resourceful and entrepreneurial, making her an asset in her role at
Macy's running capital projects for multiple locations and managing multimillion
dollar rollouts nationally. From retail interiors, fixtures and mannequins to in-case
displays, artwork and graphic art development, she is an influential professional
in a visual organization. Her high-profile
projects include the five year renovation of
Macy's landmark Herald Square flagship,
the downtown Brooklyn store remodel, as
well as a capital investment of visual merchandising assets into 50 Macy's stores
last fall. This project included the design,
development and installation of more
than 200 "user-generated content" experiences into stores, using interactive details
like bold neon, mirrors and messages of
empowerment to engage consumers at
a fundamental touchpoint of the brickand-mortar experience-the fitting rooms.
Maxwell's daily work is informed by her
many passions outside of retail, including
graphic design, 3-D production, sculpture
and printmaking. She owns an independent silkscreen studio that specializes in
custom-printed merchandise, stationary
and promotional print. Maxwell is truly
making a mark in the visual world.
Pet peeve: Slow walkers...I've lived in NYC
too long.
Most unique personality trait: I've been told
my laugh is very loud and infectious.
I'm inspired by: Strong, intelligent women in
positions of power using their platforms
for activism and social change.
