Herzog Wine Cellars operates by the
axiom that great grapes make great wine,
and we couldn't agree more. With a history stretching back to the 19th century, this
stylish kosher winery continues to build on its
rich tradition of exquisite wines by sourcing
grapes from several growing regions across
California to create truly one-of-a-kind pours.
Owners Barbara and Robert Wagner of
Magnavino Cellars produced their first
commercial vintage in 2008 after a lifelong
passion for all things wine. The couple invites
visitors to enjoy a flight in their Tuscan-style
tasting room.
Located in a 1902 Victorian home at Heritage Square, Rancho Ventavo Cellars pleases the palate with a mix of varietals sourced
from across the Central Coast. Treat yourself
to tasting room favorites such as the 2010
Mourvèdre - a complex medley of black
cherry, currant and black pepper flavors -
and the rich 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon.
With the goal of offering Ventura County a
"super contemporary twist to wine tasting,"
Scott and Katie Bellew opened the ultrasleek

Java Juice
We all need a jump start now and then. Oxnard has what you need to get up and go.
Located in a 1911 craftsman-style farmhouse, Heritage Coffee and Gifts is all
about community. The coffeehouse uses
locally roasted, free-trade coffee for its
espresso-based drinks and sells locally
made pastries. It also offers Oxnard-made
gifts and wares, so you can find the perfect
souvenir while sipping your morning joe.
A small-batch roaster with a penchant for
smiles, Ragamuffin Coffee Roasters is in the
business of making people happy one cup at
a time. Nestled in The Collection at RiverPark,
this hip café has coffee down to a science.
Before bubble tea was trendy, the Tran
family started whipping up delicious pearled
concoctions back in 2002. After opening
Bigstraw Boba in 2007 - Oxnard's first
boba shop - the owners expanded their
menu from 12 to a whopping 80 flavors.
Bar Hopping
Sometimes, there's nothing better than having a cold one at the end of the day.
Sidle up to The Shores Bar & Restaurant
for tasty eats and a refreshing cocktail or two
after a day at the beach. For a taste of the past,
