COMPLETED
Santé of Tucson Transitional Rehabilitation Center and Senior Care
opened in Tucson, Ariz. The 103-bed community provides assisted living,
short-term rehabilitation, and senior care. The two-story, 68,000-squarefoot building includes a short-term memory care wing, as well, which is privately secured and has a dedicated dining and physical rehabilitation gym.
Erickson Living completed
an expansion project on its 89acre Highland Springs campus in
Dallas. Pecan Grove, an independent living building, features 108
residences with nine floor plans
highlighting open-concept designs in two- and one-bedroom
Pecan Grove, Dallas
homes. Amenities include underground parking, an exercise studio, and a restaurant with patio dining.
JHP Architecture (Dallas) was the project architect and The WhitingTurner Contracting Co. (Baltimore) served as the general contractor.
Watercrest Senior Living Group opened Market Street Memory Care
Residence in Viera, Fla. The 44,000-square-foot, 60-unit memory care
community includes abundant natural lighting, internal courtyards with
landscaped gardens, circular walkways, visual cueing, and multiple social
gathering places. The market plaza streetscape features live plants, trees,
and familiar destinations such as a post office, newsstand, salon, and spa.
The project was built by Walker & Co. Inc. (Winter Park, Fla.). Watercrest
designed and operates the community.
Christian Care Centers Inc. (Mesquite, Texas) completed construction
of its new continuing care retirement community in Allen, Texas. Designed
by Rees Architects (Dallas and Houston), the 72,000-square-foot, two-story
building consists of 32 assisted living units and 34 memory care units, as
well as 22 independent living cottages. The project site was developed by
Adolfson & Peterson Construction (Richardson, Texas).

IN THE WORKS
The Springs Living (Sherwood, Ore.) will break ground on The Springs
at Bozeman this summer in Bozeman, Mont. The community will offer 172
independent living, assisted living, and memory care options, with studio,
one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment floor plans. Amenities will include
restaurant dining with a brick oven and open kitchen, as well as a swimming pool, theater, and full-service pub.
Caddis (Dallas) has formed a joint venture partnership with Singerman Real Estate LLC (Chicago) to develop a senior living community in
Fayetteville, Ga. Heartis Fayetteville will house 80 independent living units,
56 assisted living apartments, and 32 memory care units in three buildings
totaling 157,029 square feet. Amenities will include secured courtyards, a
swimming pool, outdoor walking paths, game and activity rooms, a beauty
and barber shop, and dining. Pate Design Group (Atlanta) is the architect
on the project and Choate Construction (Atlanta) is the general contractor.
Construction is scheduled to be completed in late 2017.
