SetaGrip uses layering technology to bring a scratch resistant, sound insulated, and
waterproof flooring to the senior living environment. Once installed, the flooring can be
easily maintained and likely never need to be replaced. In the case any plank or tile needs
replacement, SetaGrip's adhesive free micro-suction technology makes removing planks
simple and easy. SetaGrip tiles leave no residue, and each tile is independent so it does
not require removal of an entire row in order to replace a single tile.
NuFlors' comfort vinyl provides the durability of a hard surface with the comfort of a
soft floor for impact attenuation. Comfort is especially important for seniors who may
experience joint pain, and also staff who often need to stand for long periods of time.
The special formulation of crosslinked urethane is reinforced with ceramic beads for
ultra durability and creates a scratch and abrasion resistant surface perfect for patient
rooms. SetaGrip also provides noise dampening and sound reduction which is important
in this environment.
Another advantage to SetaGrip's non-adhesive installation is the absence of strong
odors. Since SetaGrip floors use 100% virgin vinyl, there are almost zero VOCs and
phthalates in the product.

Jury comments:
* This seems to be a great project to retro-fit older communities for a fresher, more modern look. Displacing
residents during a remodel is a major concern, and if this could cut down the time and improve the quality
of space, then it deserves recognition.
* This flooring manufacturer has innovated to provide a flooring which does not require glue down. This is
innovative technology which eliminates the VOC's of glue and difficulty of removing and replacing individual
pieces.
* Looks like it meets all the needs, wear surface, comfort, sound, ease of installation and waterproof. Good
product.
* Love that this flooring is flexible, requires no adhesive and can be easily patched/replaced - even picked
up and reused elsewhere. The sustainability of this product is compelling.
