Fleet Landing
Fleet Landing, in the Jacksonville area, is a senior living community that has been well-positioned
in the market for more than 27 years. In order to maintain its position as the premier senior living
option, a repositioning effort has been undertaken to add 142 independent living apartments as well
as 68 supportive living units. A highlight of the project is a decentralized commons concept that
locates a new 12,000 sq. ft. commons building with distinct dining venues among two refreshed
venues on campus. Together they elevate activity areas and provide a wellness destination that
extends the commons experience to reenergize the entire community.

Rehabilitation

The Mooring on Foreside is an award-winning
8,435 sq. ft. memory care home, featuring 12
private units thoughtfully designed within a
New England Cape small-house concept. With
custom millwork, intimate spaces and tasteful
residential features-including a wonderfully
equipped kitchen-this stunning facility
offers residents a familiar and comforting
home environment and beautifully landscaped
surroundings, which can be safely enjoyed
from an enclosed, secure patio with a fireplace
and comfortable seating.

Scotia Village strives to offer living options
that maximize comfort, barrier-free access,
and independence. With this in mind, GMK
Interiors recently completed Phase V of
carefully programmed upgrades using the
"person-centered household model" concept.
GMK designed interiors for four skilled nursing
residences (including memory care), as well as
clinical/assisted care areas and a Community
Center. Each space specifically focuses on
nurturing the mental, physical, and emotional
health of community residents.

Birch Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Center
is a 120 bed skilled nursing facility separated
into 40 memory, 50 long term, and 30 rehab
beds. The facility features dining rooms, day
rooms and courtyards for each neighborhood.
The central kitchen and physical therapy gym
serve the entire facility along with a small cafe
in the main lobby area. Birch Pointe features
home-like design with a nod toward hotel
hospitality while maintaining stringent medical
standards.
