A small-scale hotel that's large on luxury is slated to open this quarter in Hua
Hin, a seaside resort in on Thailand's Malay Peninsula. The six-key Hotel
Bocage is a collaboration between high-profile Thai architect Duangrit
Bunnag and Singapore-based hotel developer/manager Louis T Collection.
The property's accommodations-ranging in size from 450 to 800 sq. ft.-
sport sleek, sweeping open plans and a crisp color palette of white and grey.
The rooms also feature floor-to-ceiling sliding doors that lead to private
balconies offering views of the Gulf of Thailand.
Hua Hin is widely known as Thailand's original beach resort, owing to the

fact that two of the country's kings established summer residences there in
the 1920s. Today, it is home to numerous hotels, including large-scale properties run by such international brands as Hilton and Marriott Intl.
"In an area saturated with big resort-style properties, Hotel Bocage is
forging a new path when it comes to intimate, uncomplicated stays," said
Grant Healy, Louis T Collection's ceo.
Hotel Bocage is the second property in Thailand in Louis T´s fold. In 2015,
the group acquired the Mantra Samui Resort in Koh Samui, which is set to
reopen later this year following extensive renovations.

NIKKI BEACH RESORT DEBUTS IN DUBAI
Nikki Beach Worldwide has exported its luxury club concept to an offshore island in Dubai. The luxury lifestyle resort, on Pearl Jumeirah,
features 132 hotel keys (117 rooms and suites and 15 villas) and 63 private
residences. The complex, developed by locally based Meraas, was designed
by DSA Architects Intl., with interiors by Gatserelia Design.
Project participants say the resort's accommodations sport the brand's
"beachside-chic aesthetic" of bright whites, pale blues and natural wood
elements. The 560,000-sq.-ft. property also features five restaurants and
lounges; a Nikki Spa and Tone Gym; four pools and private cabanas with
plunge pools; and an adjoining beach that's accessible to resort guests and
day visitors.
"The Nikki Beach brand is all about celebrating life and infusing adventure and fun into every single day," says Jack Penrod, founder and owner of
Miami Beach, Florida-based Nikki Beach Worldwide. "This new resort lives
and breathes this philosophy, but in the context of Dubai, embracing its
high-energy environment, cutting-edge amenities, friendly service, luxurious experience and stylish approach."
The opening of the brand's latest resort follows the launch of the
nearby Nikki Beach Dubai Restaurant & Beach Club. The brand's other
hotels/resorts are in Koh Samui, Thailand; Porto Heli, Greece; and
Bodrum, Turkey.
