URBAN RHAPSODY, A DELTA HOTELS CONCEPT BAR EXPERIENCE

THE ITINERARY: Channel the free spirit of the artist lifestyle within the industrial shadows of
New York City and the vibrant cityscape of Los Angles.
THE ROADMAP: "Our partner, Delta Hotels, challenged the design team to bring a bold, energetic
bar concept to the trade fair floor that would be relevant to NYC and LA. The design delights with
a play on grid patterns inspired by the metal structures of NY grounded with bold color on the
floor similar to the street art of LA. Urban Rhapsody dares to stand out on the show floor like the
creatives and performers who seek the spotlight within these large city environments," says Poole.
Delta Hotels is a Marriott brand from Canada that is now emerging in the U.S., featuring
custom bar experiences unique to each location.
THE SIGHTS: Like a city map, the details make up the wow moments that allow for discovery,
instead of a one-note punch. Look for suspended hexagon-shaped mirrors overhead in a
ceiling punctuated with pendant lighting. Within the collection of furnishing, form and
function complement each other, as in the faceted wood bar structure presented like
sculpture. Nested banquette seating not only helps support the superstructure but offers a
more intimate space for conversation.

while sharing the design vision yields exceptional results.
