eponymous firm, the Toronto-based designer has used shape and texture to craft
immersive spaces around the world. To see how he and INK Entertainment ceo

Shenton waS formerly design director at London-based Anouska Hempel
Design, where she worked on boutique hotels and resorts, 5-star hotels, flagship
retail stores, restaurants and luxury private residences for such clients as Blakes
Hotel, One & Only, Jumeirah Living, Louis Vuitton, Starwood Capital and Van
Cleef & Arpels. In 2014, Shenton struck out on her own, co-founding Studio
Mica. Her fledgling firm's first hotel project is a high-profile one, indeed: Nobu
Hotel Shoreditch, the brand's debut property in Europe. Get the scoop on how

MANAGING DIRECTOR | KEANE
Scarf became the leader of this high-profile multidisciplinary design firm
last September, when founder and creative director Aidan Keane passed away
unexpectedly. "We had a very balancing partnership for 20 years that became as
instinctive and often unsaid as any long-term relationship, so I miss him hugely,"
says Scarf. Nonetheless, Scarf is determined to keep Keane's legacy of creating
wildly inventive and memorable F&B spaces alive. For a detailed look at five
