Dr. Namrata Hardy

1. Tell us about your business.
At Hardy Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics
in Erie, we are committed to providing comprehensive pediatric dental care, along with child
and adult orthodontic services. We are both
board-certified specialists in our respective
fields. Dr. Nam Hardy is our pediatric dentist
and Dr. TC Hardy is our orthodontist. Only a little over 50% of pediatric and orthodontic specialists can say they are board certified.
We know you will love our doctors and walk
away with a smile on your face. Our wonderful
doctors aren't the only things you'll love about
your time in our office! Dr. Nam is currently the
only pediatric dentist in the Northern Colorado area providing laser dentistry for both your
gums and your teeth! This means a lot of your
fillings can be done without shots or drills, the
two things your child doesn't like! This makes
for a truly amazing experience.

really is about our whole team as there is so, so
much more to an office than just the doctors.
This is true for just about any pediatric dental
office, but it really is something that makes this
setting unique. Dentistry can be a very scary
thing for a little one, especially when they have
had tough experiences in the past. This is where
a pediatric dentist can stand apart. It makes
our staff feel amazing to have a nervous child
come in and leave with a smile because we spent
the time and have the knowledge to make their
experience a positive one. We want to set all of
our patients up for a lifetime of successful oral
health because that is really what it is all about.

2. When, why and how did you and beyond to provide YOU with
start your business?

We started in the summer of 2016. Dr. TC Hardy was born and raised in Colorado. His great
grandfather was actually an oral surgeon in
Denver during the early 1900s, so dentistry and
Colorado are in his blood. It was easy enough to
convince his wife, Dr. Nam, to come out this way
from the East Coast! As so many people agree,
there is nothing like Colorado! We chose Erie
because we love the small-town community.
Erie also allows us to be close to so many of Colorado's great activities from Downtown Denver
to Boulder to the mountains and more! We are
proud to be Erie's first pediatric dentist.

It is not an Erie-based company exactly... But we
really have to give a shout out to all the staff at
the Erie Chamber. They have been so incredibly welcoming and supportive we don't know
what we would do without them. They go above
and beyond to help us get set up at events and to
make sure all the countless events they do are
second to none. We are so proud to be a part of
the Chamber!!!

Dog often. The food and atmosphere are great!
The staff is always friendly. There is also a great
Mexican restaurant, Si Senor. Sakura Sushi and
INJOY are great restaurants as well. We have
a really fun enjoyable strip down on the south
side of Erie that we hope people have been able to
visit. It is our home away from home.

6. Tell us about a chamber event
you enjoyed and found memorable-and why.
Obviously, we are a little biased. We are in a
building with Larkridge Family Dentistry,
Farmers Insurance, and Vista Animal Hospital.
For our ribbon cutting, we brought out all the
stops! We had food trucks, activity tables, an air
castle and carnival games for the neighborhood.
It was a really fun time with amazing support
from the chamber.

7. What do you do in your free time?
We are big on family time, with two young
boys at home they keep us busy! We love going
to parks. Our oldest boy could spend hours on a
slide. We also love biking and exploring nearby
trails. Grandparents and cousins are not too far
off in the Castle Rock and Colorado Springs areas and are frequent visitors.
