TOP: The Tahoe Gal (pictured) is an iconic 120
passenger paddle wheeler. The Tahoe Gal departs
daily from Tahoe City, cruising to Emerald Bay
and along the North and West Shores of Lake
Tahoe. The M.S. Dixie II - the largest cruising
paddle wheeler on the lake - holds up to 500
passengers for its two and a half hour narrated
daytime scenic cruises; and seats 300 for their
sunset dinner cruises. It departs from Zephyr
Cove Resort & Marina four miles north of
Stateline on Highway 50. Either cruise provides
a relaxing and informative opportunity to enjoy
and learn about this special lake.

MID: There are numerous places around the
lake to rent paddleboards and rafts; and many
places to enjoy them. Although much of the lake
is extremely deep, some areas around the shorelines are perfect for SUP or Stand Up Paddle
Boarding. Choose a board that conforms with
your weight and skill level. A recreational board
will be different then a surfing or touring board.
The rental facility will assist in selecting a
proper board, paddle and other essential
necessities which can include a safety vest, safety
whistle and light. Standing on the board
provides a different perspective as it gives a
unique view of the shallow waters and sandy

LOWER:: Gather the group, worship the sun gods
and hang out in the cool waters of the lake.

There are a multitude of smaller boat rentals:
kayaks, jet skis, rafts, sailboats, parasailing and
more. Numerous beaches are located around the
