Outstanding FWSA Ski Clubs Give From the Heart

Charities and Our Community Chair, FWSA
Far West Ski Association is very proud to have so many clubs and
councils actively supporting a huge variety of charities. The Association
established the " Charity and Community Service Recognition " program
16 years ago to recognize our ski club and council member efforts.
By openly honoring so many groups within our FWSA family at our
conventions, we encourage others to become more involved with charity
activities and donations.
FWSA's 10 participating ski councils have always been committed
to supporting charitable giving and volunteerism. Through the generous
donations and volunteer services of our individual members, we
hope to enhance the quality of life within our communities. Congratulations
to the members of our clubs and councils, the presidents, and
their charity program organizers. These are admirable groups, who
selflessly support so many charities.
Most of our clubs and councils are in some way involved with charitable
activities, doing amazing work for those who are less fortunate.
At this year's convention in Portland, FWSA gave special recognition
to clubs and councils, who wanted to share their charity activities, by
including them in our second FWSA Charities Video. This video was
interesting and inspiring. Delegates and industry friends were able to
watch it throughout the weekend convention. The video was sent to
all participating clubs and councils and has been posted for the world
to view on the www.fwsa.org website.
