Off Your Rockers Get
Off Your Rockers (GOYR) membership
has over 325 members.
New activities of dancing, camping,
bowling, and bridge have
been added to a wide variety of
water sports, pickleball, foot golf,
biking, birding, tennis, golf, theatre
shows, and historic tours.
Socializing is fun at summer picnics
at Mission Bay and happy
hours throughout the county.
Trips were taken this year to
eastern Europe and Mackinac Island
in Michigan, with a New
Mexico adventure planned for
July 2023. The club continues to
donate volunteer time to local
community organizations. Follow

North Island Snowdrifters
not only enjoy skiing and snowboarding
but keeps busy having
fun throughout the year with social
and other sport activities.
Last season the club traveled to
Copper Mountain, CO, as well as,
enjoyed several Mammoth
Mountain bus trips.
This year
they are looking forward to
Schweitzer Resort, ID. Summer
meetings are really potluck picnics,
while winter meetings are
indoor social hours. Club members
stay in shape with hiking,
paddle boarding, bicycling, walking,
outdoor games, dancing and
whatever else strikes their

Pacific Rim Alliance is active
in San Diego with skiing,
snowboarding, sight-seeing, photography,
travel and public
awareness. The club offers many
other events including water skiing,
wake boarding and bike rides.
The Annual Winemaker Dinner
in the fall features a fabulous 7
Course Gourmet Dinner with
Wine Pairings, and generates
funds donated to Can Do MS
(formerly the Jimmie Heuga Foundation).
Trips are offered to Cabo
San Lucas and travel to Big
White, Canada annually.

San Diego Ski Club has its
own chalet for members at Mammoth
Mountain, and is maintained
by annual work parties by
club members and their families.
This is a very dynamic, familyoriented
club offering many activities
including holiday parties,
Warren Miller ski movie events,
an annual member appreciation
barbecue, end of year beach party
and potluck. The club's altruistic
efforts include an Adopt a Highway
program and contributions
to food drives for enlisted military
families. San Diego Ski Club
is open to both skiers and snowboarders
and proud of their successful
race team.

Torrey Pines Ski Club
members enjoy many various social
activities. Monthly meetings
are held outdoors at Mission Bay,
a monthly Happy Hour, and
members lead walks around
town. Game nights are fun and
members enjoy local tours.
Summer concerts in Coronado
are back, and other outdoor theatre
includes the Moonlight Amphitheater
in Vista. A highlight
this year was the return of the
Summer Pops series at the new
Rady Shell on the Embarcadero.
Midweek ski trips to Mammoth
are hosted with Don Diego Ski
