to the newly redesigned Focus magazine! In the pages ahead you’ll see some signi cant changes from the issues of the past. These changes are the result of a lot of hard work and a lot of input from readers like you. We hope you enjoy the new design, the new elements and the new approach to Focus magazine.
Let’s quickly meet our new lineup of columnists … you’ll get to know more about them as you read their thoughts in issues ahead: ere are basically three major changes, boiled down to Style, Substance and Speed. On the Style side, the magazine has a new look. You’ve likely already seen the new cover design, which leads to an article spotlighting industry leaders and your professional peers, as a way to provide ideas and inspirations to you. You’ll also see a new look to the design of articles and other elements, all planned to ow information logically and seamlessly for you. In terms of Substance, the content will focus on categorized articles that meet your most pressing needs. Some topics include e-learning, leadership/management development, selling skills, product training and medical & diagnostic devices. You’ll also meet a new collection of columnists. What hasn’t changed? We’ll still share news from the industry in general and SPBT members in particular, and we’ll continue to take your conversational temperature by sharing tweets, blog posts and other social media stu . So what about Speed? It’s simple … you’re busy people, so most of the articles in Focus have gotten shorter to connect you quickly with relevant takeaways. We still have a couple of full-length features, but we think you’ll enjoy the “get in/get out” approach to most elements.

Finally, now that you’re holding the new Focus in your hands, there’s a hands-o option as well.
