50 PLUS Plains Indian Culture Peter Jacobs, an expert on Plains Indian Culture, will share with you his insights during this presentation. Mr. Jacobs, emeritus faculty at CSU in the art department, has spent the past 50 years studying the art of the Plains Indian Tribes. He will describe the various tribe’s traditions and how those traditions are reflected in their art. Pre-registration is required for trips. Some events will have an early registration deadline. Online registration is not available. Call 970.221.6644 to register. Ticketed event sales are is considered final. No refunds are given unless we resell that ticket. No discounts are allowed for trips. Out of respect for the other participants we cannot wait for those running late. The trip will leave promptly at the posted trip time. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. Due to traffic situations, length of show/program or other unknown occurrences, all return times are approximate. Individuals not independent in daily living or who need extra supervision should register with a personal care attendant. At registration, inform us of any accommodation needed. There is no transportation fee for the attendant but he/she must pay for ticket or meal expenses, if applicable. Attendants must register separately from individuals to ensure accurate counts. Round trip transportation to and from your home is available for most trips if you reside within the Fort Collins City limits (with some exceptions). The cost for this service is $3/person. Requests must be made at the time you register or at least three days prior to the trip. All trip prices include at least transportation and escort. Trips are smoke-free whenever possible.
