Recreator - Winter 2014 - (Page 6)

From the Recreation Director Fellow Recreators, As this Recreator goes to print the forecast is calling for snow. Are you ready? We’ve been planning our winter programs for a few months now. Whether you are looking to hit the slopes using our ski bus or if you are moving your fitness routine inside, we have the activity, program or pass for you. With this winter edition of the Recreator we are introducing the Recreator of the Year, see page 7. I think you will find that the chosen Recreator lives his life fully and actively and is a perfect choice for our inaugural year for this honor. I wanted to personally thank everyone who has taken the survey sent out quarterly. We welcome continuous improvement and encourage your candid and honest feedback. With your responses we have been able to improve many things – facility cleanliness, customer service issues and the most recent, web delays in registering for classes on opening day of registration. We worked diligently with the Information Technology Department to research and correct the issue. The Fall Recreator registration was a success; we didn’t see any of the hiccups that we have seen in the past. With the upgraded equipment purchased, we were able to help you get registered when you wanted – at 7:00 a.m. on the day of registration. We will continue to monitor our web transactions to be sure problems don’t arise in the future. Please keep informing us on ways we can progress. Keeping you happy and returning to our programs is at the top of our list. Now get to surfing through these pages, check out our Recreator of the Year and sign up for the classes that fit your interests on November 14!
