Gateway Center's
Events
Funds raised directly support programming, including
intensive case management, job readiness training, food
services, and other vital supports. The FY21 event was
our first year going virtual, and we celebrated our 15th
Anniversary of serving the Atlanta Community. We honored
former Mayor Shirley Franklin and Dr. Debi Starnes.
Hosted by Bold Monk Brewing Co. and streamed virtually,
Gateway Center honored Payton Prokes as the Outstanding
Individual Volunteer of the Year and The Westminster Schools
for Outstanding Corporate Volunteer of the Year. This was
our first year adding a Virtual 5K Walk/Run component
to our Volunteer Recognition Event, and we are excited
to see how this portion of the event will grow annually.
