their own dinosaur theme
park. The concept isn't entirely
new, as mobile apps like
Jurassic Park Builder have
previously allowed players
to harness their inner John
Hammond, but Evolution
aims to leverage the power of
current-gen consoles to offer
a significantly deeper and
prettier experience.
Unfolding on Isla Nublar
and its surrounding islands,
the game will give gamers the
chance to succeed where the
movies' characters had failed,
constructing and managing
a dino-filled theme park
that doesn't end up a total
disaster. They'll bioengineer
new dinosaur breeds, build
facilities - from attractions
to containment and research
structures - attract tourists
and rake in profits.
Beyond the core fantasy
of letting fans build and run
their own park, the game will
attempt to keep them on their
toes with a promising riskreward dynamic. Balancing

and entertainment - players
will need to complete various
contracts for each to ensure
everything runs smoothly and
no one, errr, gets eaten.
This could mean creating
a complete genome for a
specific dinosaur breed for
the science branch or maybe
upgrading containment areas

to keep security happy. Of
course, with finite resources, it
will be impossible to cover all
your bases all the time; favor
one path over another and
your main attractions could
end up feasting on your guests.

T-Rex freely roaming around
the food court. How you
manage these potentially
business-bankrupting
scenarios is what can set your
park apart from the films'
failed enterprises.
Raising dinosaurs, from
babies to big bads, is made
even more engaging by
Evolution's polished visual
presentation and intuitive
gameplay. Highly detailed
environments and creatures
look like the real deal, while
the clean, straightforward user
interface elements ensure the
potentially complex simulation
is accessible to even rookie
theme park entrepreneurs.
We look forward to
welcoming guests - and
hopefully keeping them safe -
when Jurassic World Evolution
swings opens its massive gates
this summer.
