A Victorian Christmas Discover the magic behind the windows in Summerville BY VIRGINIA DAVIS • PHOTOS BY BRENDA COOPER Y ou might think that you have gone back in time if you visit Summerville in Northwest Georgia this holiday season. From Thanksgiving until Christmas, life-size figures depicting events during the Victorian era adorn the downtown store windows. The scenes represent the era both at home and abroad. The project was begun four years ago by local volunteers with lots of enthusiasm and miscellaneous donations.
