In 2009, the Friends published “Our Favorite Recipes.” Containing 430 pages and more than 1,100 recipes from the community, this three-ring-bound cookbook has a traditional Southern recipe for almost every occasion imaginable. Remove from heat and let mixture cool completely. Pour 3/4 cup of the pepper jelly mixture into a large plastic bag, reserving remaining mixture; add pork chops to bag, turning to coat. Seal and let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes, turning chops occasionally. Remove chops from marinade, discard marinade. Sprinkle chops evenly with salt and pepper. Grill covered with grill lid over medium-high heat for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until a meat thermometer inserted into thickest portion registers 160 degrees. Serve with reserved pepper jelly mixture.
