‘Zamily’ties Zac Brown stands firm on Southern ground BY JACKIE KENNEDY Georgia native Zac Brown grew up playing guitar and now serves as front man for the Zac Brown Band. The 33-year-old entrepreneur runs a record label, sells his own barbecue fixings and plugs his own cookbook. He oversees Southern Ground, his Atlanta-based collection of companies producing everything from leather goods (Southern Hide) to knives crafted from recycled steel (Southern Grind). When he’s not tussling with his own kids, the happily married father of four strategizes plans to construct a summer camp for youth. And through it all, he sings— with soul. He’s the front man of the Zac Brown Band, the Georgia-based, two-time-Grammy-winning group See Zac that’s enjoyed national success Brown live!
