It was amazing! Not only for the inside look at what goes on, but also for the learning experience. I have really learned a lot about Georgia EMC and other cooperatives. I would also like to thank you for sponsoring the annual Georgia 4-H banquet and many other events. I know personally that without it, I probably would not have been able to attend State Congress, so it really means a lot. Once again, thank you for the tour and learning experience, and all you do for 4-H through the year! —Jonathan Tomberlin, 4-H Photography Project 2012 student, Fitzgerald Visiting my history Your November 2010 issue had an article, “Traveling into my past,” by Elaine E. Trull [see page 34]. As I read about her visit to the home in Lexington that was built by her great-great-great-great-grandfather Vines Collier, I knew that he was my great-great-great-great-grandfather as well! Thank you for forwarding my note to Elaine. This past July, my brother Aubrey Bush, Martha McCoy, another descendant of Vines Collier, and I, with our spouses, enjoyed seeing the home, owned by Jack Howard, and the Collier graves there on the property. —Cynthia Tornquist, Hartwell GEORGIA MAGAZINE
