DECEMbER 2012 COMpILED bY VANESSA SCHILL C Homes for the holidays elebrate the season in style with The Georgia Club Foundation’s Christmas Tour of Homes in Statham on Dec. 9, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. This season’s theme, “Home for the Holidays,” will feature six homes uniquely bedecked in holiday splendor. Visitors will be greeted by Santa at the clubhouse, where cookies and punch will be served. On the tour, visitors will get a glimpse into the holiday traditions of others, including a pink pig ornament collection, a beach Christmas theme, a University of Georgia theme and more. All proceeds go to support Oconee Food for Kids and St. Mary’s Hospice. Children under 12 are not permitted at the event.
