The mammoth cabbage Macy grew for her third-grade project measured 50 inches across and weighed 28 pounds! Macy’s class participated in the 3rd Grade Cabbage Program promoted by Bonnie Plants, a plant wholesaler, to inspire young people to develop a love of vegetable gardening. Macy is the daughter of Bubba and Lori Jeter, and granddaughter of Harold and Linda Scott, all of LaGrange (Diverse Power). 7. Piper shows off a freshly harvested sweet potato as her brother Jordan digs for more in their grandmother’s potato patch in Carrollton (Carroll EMC).
