COMPILED BY CLAY NARRON Up, up and away E njoy a fun-filled family weekend at the 15th Annual Sky High Hot Air Balloon Festival, where brightly-colored, hot-air balloons will be soaring over Pine Mountain. Set for Aug. 30-Sept. 2 at Callaway Gardens, the festival will kick off Friday night at Robin Lake Beach with live music and balloons that will illuminate the sky for the Balloon Glow. On Saturday and Sunday, the balloons will head for the sky at sunrise and sunset. Festivities continue at the beach with tethered balloon rides, swimming, miniature golf, T-shirt dyeing, disc dog demonstrations, Light Striker Laser Tag and more. Other events include a classic car show on Saturday and the Callaway Gardens Fitness Series 5K run and triathlon on Sunday morning.
