breast cancer and 5,300 will be

* Mortality rates for breast cancer are higher for black women
than any other race or ethnic
group.
* Through routine screening and
early detection, 97 percent of
women can survive ﬁve years
or more.

Disease Control and Prevention in

of skin cancer, breast cancer in the
United States is the most common

year, about 232,670 new cases of
invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in women in the U.S. and
about 40,000 women will die from

foster care at any given time. The program's mission is to facilitate special connections in a physically and emotionally
safe environment between rescued horses and children who have been adopted or
