This year's lineup includes Timi
Conley and the Wonderland Rangers on
June 7; The Splitz Band, July 12; Klezmer
Local 42, Aug. 23; and Randall Bramblett,
Sept. 27. All concerts start at 7 p.m.

The Columbus Botanical Garden
(CBG) celebrates the season with its
Summer Sounds in the Garden concert
series, starting June 9. The concerts begin
at 7 p.m. on the second Thursday of
the month from June through September
and feature local musicians performing
rock, pop, soul, big band, country
and other genres of music. Pack
a picnic, or start your evening at
6 p.m. and enjoy food and drinks
from some of Columbus' best
restaurants.

The July 4th Weekend Star
Spangled Beach Party at
Callaway Resort and Gardens in
Pine Mountain kicks off at dusk
July 1-4. The white-sand beach
along Robin Lake is a perfect
place to watch the nightly fireworks
display after spending the day
exploring the gardens. A one- to
three-day ticket includes admission
to the garden, the Cecil B. Day
Butterfly Center and the birds of prey shows. Other
resort amenities include a spa hotel and cabins,
hiking, golf, tennis and zip lining.
