WHIMSICAL WHIRLIGIGS
Georgia-born artist Charlie Dingler earned his associate degree at Truett
McConnell University in Young Harris and a Bachelor of Arts in art from Brenau
University in Gainesville. His refi ned style of folk art showcases his skill and
mastery of material, form and color. Dingler creates his colorful whirligigs
at his home studio in Clayton and shows his work at various art festivals, such
as the annual Finster Fest in Summerville, and at Gallery 441 North in Dillard.

Stork and Loom in Columbus turns out baby goods using

Lavender Farm in Dahlonega, where Tina and David Duff ey grow and harvest

person, many of the farm's products are available to purchase online. Soaps
and lotions make superb gifts, and a nice set can be created for less than $30.
Baking enthusiasts will appreciate mixes for shortbread cookies, scones and
