DIAGNOSING THE PATHOGENESIS OF TMJ DISEASE:
NOT JUST AN OPEN AND SHUT CASE
This program brings together the elements of “the perfect storm”
in examining how the immune and coagulation systems mediate
the inflammatory response through the vascular system. The autoimmune disease profile is explored within the context of microbial pathogenesis, biofilm and pro-clotting disorders as causal to
TMJ disorders. The “Universal Platform” of hypoxia is presented
as an intersection point promotional to chronic and acute disorders associated with conditions commonly observed. Examples of

DIRECT ESTHETIC RESTORATIONS
Many new tooth colored restorative materials have been optimized
for better results. However, there is no best single material available. With the aging demographics of our population it is important to use age-appropriate restorative materials. Composites with
optimized nano-filler particles and non-bis-GMA resins decrease
wear, polymerization shrinkage stress and improve optical qualities. Glass Ionomer restorative materials can serve as a therapeutic
restorative material, reducing post-operative sensitivity and potential recurrent decay. Predictable class II restorations require specific skills and techniques to achieve reliable success. Learn about
