Continuing Education Credits
the Greater new York dental Meeting is designated as an approved pace program provider
by the academy of General dentistry. the formal continuing education programs of this program provider are accepted by aGd for Fellowship, Mastership and membership maintenance
credit. approval does not imply acceptance by
a state or provincial board of dentistry or aGd
endorsement. the current term of approval extends from 8/1/17 to 7/31/20.

ADA CERP recognized provider.
ada cerp is a service of the american dental association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental
education. ada cerp does not approve or endorse individual courses
or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of
dentistry. concerns or complaints about a ce provider may be directed

ACADEMy OF GENERAL DENTISTRy

PROOF OF ATTENDANCE

Members of the Academy of General Dentistry may be credited for
completed courses at this Meeting by taking copies of their CE Registry printout to the AGD booth located on the Exhibit Floor in Booth
3215. Continuing education programs offered by ADA CERP recognized providers are accepted by the AGD for Fellowship/ Mastership
credit. The AGD does not award credit for "general attendance" at
the Meeting. Check with the AGD representatives at their booth to
see if course credit will be awarded for selected individual activities.
The AGD sponsor code for the Greater New York Dental Meeting is
214294.

Proof of attendance for continuing education certification is available
for all scientific sessions using a six digit course Attendance Verification Number (AVN). The first three digits of the AVN number are
announced at the beginning of each session and the last three digits
at the end of each session. The number of CE hours is equal to the
number of hours per course. This information can be entered in the
Greater New York Dental Meeting computerized CE Registry sites
located in the CE Pavilion on the Exhibit Floor in Booths 439 and 5818,
Sunday through Wednesday and in the South Side Registration Area
on Saturday and Wednesday afternoon to receive a printed transcript.
Attendees are required to scan their badge bar code, which is part
of their registration credentials, at the CE station, enter the course
number and the six digit attendance verification number for each
program to be credited. Continuing education codes will be available
only to those individuals who have attended an entire presentation.
These codes will not be available to attendees at any other time. The
printout will include title of course, name of speaker, program type,
hours for CE credit and the date attended. Attendees will be able to
access their own CE credits online and print them from anywhere
at www.gnydm.com for a period of 90 days after the Meeting. The
CE registry computers are programmed to print proof of attendance
letters using your badge with the bar code.

DENTAL ASSISTING NATIONAL BOARD
Continuing education recertification credit will be granted to DANB
certificants (those holding CDA, COA, CPFDA, COMSA or CDPMA certification) who attend appropriate educational lectures or seminars.
Keep attendance verification numbers, course outlines and program
guides for proof of attendance at seminars, workshops, essay and
scientific poster sessions. Retaining appropriate documentation is
essential for showing proof if audited. For additional information,

CERTIFIED DENTAL TECHNICIANS
Certified Dental Technicians can be granted NBC (National Board for
Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology) continuing education
credit for NBC approved courses. CDT's taking courses must obtain
attendance documentation from the course sponsor to submit with
renewal using the ExpoCard™ system explained in the "Proof of Attendance" section.

NEW yORK STATE DENTAL ASSOCIATION
For credit in the New York State Dental Association Continuing Education Registry, you may register your course hours by mailing copies of
your CE Registry transcript to the New York State Dental Association,
20 Corporate Woods Blvd., #602, Albany, NY 12211 or fax them to
518-465-3219.

Continuing Education Registry is located on the Exhibit Floor in
Rear Aisles 439 & 5818 and on the South side Registration Area.
You are provided a badge with a personalized
bar code containing your registration data.
* The use of your bar code allows you to record your attendance
at a course and receive written documentation at any time during
the Meeting on appropriate computers.
* The bar code can be used at participating exhibitor booths to
quickly record your contact information for exhibitors to follow-up
after the Meeting.

AMERICAN ACADEMy OF DENTAL HyGIENE
Please note: These courses are approved for credit by the American
Academy of Dental Hygiene Inc. These courses are recommended
for the entire dental team. Please bring your dental hygiene license
number to obtain proper credit.
